Udzungwa experiences most rainfall from November to March and during May, with mist and light rain common at higher elevations even in the dry season. Accessing Udzungwa is convenient, with an approximate 6-hour drive from Dar Es Salaam. Traveling to nearby parks like Mikumi takes about 1.5 hours, while Ruaha is roughly a 6- to 7-hour drive from Udzungwa, offering seamless exploration opportunities for visitors.
